Our Chief Executive Officer, Ben, has always had a talent for two things – building global partnerships and business. He started his first business in college while simultaneously earning his degrees in finance, economics, and Chinese. After college, his experiences and education in international markets enabled him to excel in his position at the top healthcare technology management company in the US, TRIMEDX, where he quickly earned a reputation for his ability to navigate complex business environments on a multi-national scale. 

At TRIMEDX, Ben was responsible for leading international expansion initiatives, and he was heavily involved in strategic analysis of new markets, partner development, negotiations, entity establishment, and launching operations. Ben worked closely with Mike, our Chief Operations Officer, on several international projects for TRIMEDX, and he quickly learned that Mike shared his passion for developing clinical engineering solutions in global markets. 

Mike began his career as an imaging engineer, and he quickly advanced into clinical engineering management. Prior to joining MEDVICE, he spent twenty-five years in leadership roles with TRIMEDX, the last eight of which were dedicated to launching and managing international operations. Mike served as the Managing Director of a joint venture with Narayana Health in India, growing it from a single-person operation to a project that invested in the development of over one-hundred employees. In 2013, he launched and oversaw an expansion of TRIMEDX operations into the Caribbean. 

Ben and Mike met Henry, our Head of Business Development in China, when they were actively working to expand global partnerships for TRIMEDX. They quickly realized Henry was an invaluable partner due to his passion for business, his lifetime of experience, his network in healthcare, and his enthusiastic personality. Henry held various positions in the Chinese healthcare industry for twelve years prior to joining MEDVICE. Most recently, he served as a senior consultant for the Shanghai New Hongqiao International Medical Center, and as a senior advisor to Mr. Xu Su, Deputy Director of Shanghai Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission and Health Reform Office. Henry has extensive experience working in international markets, and he worked for several years as the Chief Representative/Director of Rockwell International for Asia.

When TRIMEDX decided to focus on the US market, Ben, Mike, and Henry formed MEDVICE to fill the gap in clinical engineering services internationally. Together, our leadership team has the experience, passion, and networks to enhance global access to medical equipment.
